What is the buildings capacity?

300 guests including the bridal party

Is there a booking fee? When are the additional payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes. When the contract is signed, to continue holding the date, 50% of the venue rental fee is due. The final installment will be required 180 days prior to the event. You are welcome to send smaller, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due date, so in effect creating your own payment plan on your own schedule. Full payment is due by the specified due date. We also require a $1,000.00 damage deposit due 30 days prior to the event (the damage deposit will be refunded if no damages are incurred)

Whats your booking fee/cancellation/ refund policy?

All booking fees are non refundable Our policies are stated in the contract.

How do I reserve a date?

To reserve a date email us at info@swanlakeoverlook.com saying you are ready to book XYZ date if it is still available. Datres are reserved on a first requested basis. Whomever has requested tos tart the contract process from us by email first for a specific date iwll be first in line.

Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only.

Do we have to utilize your caterers?

No, we have preferred caterers that we work with. We love their work so much and thieink you will too! You are welcome to bring someone else in, they must be full service and have their liability insurance.

Do we have to use your planners and coordinators?

We have perferred services that we work with, but you are welcome to bring in whomever as long as they are professional and have their liability insurance.

Will there be another wedding the same day?

At Swan Lake Overlook, we only host one wedding each day to ensure that each couple's event is special and receives our full attention.

Are there on-site accommodations?

Yes. We have on-site lodging, are handicap accessible, and our staff will be available during your wedding for any immediate needs.

Where do the guest park?

Our parking lot is located next to the venue with a parking attendant to guide guests.

Do you offer straight tables instead of round?

We have a limited number of straight tables onsite that can be used for your gift table, head table, etc. Usually we have a few extras that can be mixed in with reception seating, but the majority of your guests will be seated at 60” round tables.

Do you provide table linens, cups, silverware, etc?

No. Swan Lake Overlook provides an awesome venue, tables, and elegant wedding chairs. Check with our Exclusive Caterers and Planners for linen options.

What happens in case of rain?

The ceremony would be indoors or under the patio and we would flip the room or your guests can be seated at their table.

We plan to have our ceremony offsite, or only plan to have our ceremony at Swan Lake Overlook. Does your fee change?

No, because we only host one event per day, our fee structure remains the same whether you hold your ceremony, reception, or both onsite.

Do you allow dogs onsite to play a part in our wedding day?

No, we cannot allow any animals other than ADA service animals for the protection of our exotic deer and other animals.

What form of payment does Swan Lake Overlook accept?

Our preferred form of payment is check or cash. We will also accept Zelle.

What time will I have access to the venue?

You will have access to the venue at the time listed on your contract; you will have access to the property for 12 hours with an additional hour for vendors to pack up. Hours differ for weekday events. Additional hours can be purchased for $1,000/hr.

Do you require a wedding day coordinator?

Yes, we require a professional day-of coordinator or wedding planner to help your day run smoothly. You will be so happy to have extra help! Please view our list of preferred planners that you may choose from when booking at Swan Lake Overlook

Do I get a rehearsal?

Yes, 1 hour of rehearsal time that is scheduled 30 days before your event based on venue availability.

Do you have a Bridal suite and Grooms lounge?

Yes, we provide both. We call this space our Buck Stop Cottage and it is located near the venue.

Do you have ADA compliant facilities and entrances for disabled or elderly guest?

Yes.

How do gates open?

We will have a gate attendant(s) on the day of the event.

Is smoking allowed?

Yes, we have an outdoor designated smoking area.

What are the ceremony options?

We have 3 options: hilltop, patio, or inside the venue (requires a room flip).

Who sets up the floor plan?

We will assist you with a floor plan and our staff will setup the table and chairs.

Who provides Alcohol?

You provide all alcohol and must hire a licensed bartender. All of the caterers on our list have bartending services available.

Do you allow sparklers/fireworks/lanterns?

No.

Do you allow confetti or biodegradable confetti?

No.
